Now we want to set up port forwarding in the router. Download FLIR IP Config and run the application. To setup the cameras, you can connect them to the router's local ports. You can set this address by accessing the local port of the router. The router should have a local ethernet port configured to 192.168.254.1. Set an IP address on the computer that will be used to configure the cameras. We will not change this address.įirst, plug the computer and camera cables into the local ports on the router. Every device that is connected to the router and performs a task on the Internet will be identified as having the IP address 81.70.110.243. The 81.70.110.243 address is public and visible from outside the local network. The subnet contains the local addresses which are not seen from outside this local network. Consider the setup shown in the image below.
